Proposed Changes for China’s MRLs

The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) released China’s new MRLs and have identified several that are more restrictive than the current U.S. MRLs.  FAS is asking for comments discussing whether China is an important market for the impact commodity, whether these pesticides are commonly used for the commodity of concern, and whether industry usage will lead to violations and stopped shipments if China institutes its MRLs. Comments are due April 3, 2013 to OASA_PDWTO@one.usda.gov.
